MANORBIER FUN AND GAMES WEEKEND

The weekend started at 4.30 when we left the scout hut. I think it took around six hours to get to YHA, Manorbier, Powys. We arrived there at about 10.00. We were the only people there yet we were told to be quiet. The first night we just went straight to bed. The first day (Saturday) we went to a sports/adventure recreational area, this is where there was paint-balling, laser clay pigeon shooting, golf, mini golf, golfing range, pistol shooting, archery and go-carting. The scouts split up into two groups of 6 and did different activities. We all met up inside the entrance where there was a games hall, we had lunch and left at 1:30 to go paint-balling. A mini van picked us up from the recreational park and took us to the paint-ball area. We had three games of paint-balling each around fifteen minutes, with a ten minute break in between each match. When we got back to the Youth Hostel there was a big rush for the showers. Sunday was the day we were going to leave, but first we have go-carting! Go-carting was really fun because we were riding on a wet track, it was hard to keep control, everyone spun off at least once. The way back was much quicker than the way there, it took about 4 hours to get back to Richmond.
